Jim Franklin,
CEO, Reliable Review Services

Mr. Franklin has 25 years experience developing and marketing managed health and employee absence programs to some of the nation's largest corporations and insurers. Prior to co-founding Reliable Review Services, he was co-founder of CORE, Inc., responsible for the rapid growth of the absence management business. He has guest lectured internationally to various professional groups on the dynamic changes in health and disability.


William E. Wright, MD, MSPH
Medical Director

Dr. Wright is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and received his Master of Science in Public Health degree from the University of Utah Medical Center and a Master of Science in Physiology (Occupational Medicine) from the Harvard School of Public Health. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and in Preventive Medicine (Occupational Medicine) and is certified by the American Board of Independent Medical Examiners. He is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and a Fellow of the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine. Dr. Wright is a former Assistant Professor of Occupational Medicine at the University of Southern California where he did occupational health research, teaching, and clinical practice, as well as past Medical Director of a nationwide provider of medical review services related to short term disability plans, ERISA appeals, and FMLA. He has been an occupational medical consultant to the U.S. Department of Energy and the U.S. Department of Labor, office of Workers’ Compensation Programs. Dr. Wright has published chapters in leading textbooks in his field and his publications include scientific research articles and reviews. He is editor and contributing author to a 2009 second edition of the medical textbook, Couturier's Occupational and Environmental Infectious Diseases.


Joe Hughes,
Director of Operations

Joe Hughes has brought more than 12 years of combined work experience to the management of all of the day-to-day administrative operations of Reliable Review Services. He was a Customer Service Manager for a National Credit Bureau and a Senior Claims Examiner for a Major Insurance Company. As Director of Operations Joe provides continuous support and enhancement of our technology initiatives and continued development of our secure web portal. Joe was one of the early employees of RRS and has been instrumental in developing, maintaining, and enhancing the efficiencies of a paperless office environment.


Marnie Carter, RN,
Director of Client Services

Marnie Carter is a Registered Nurse with over 20 years experience in the Disability & Absence Management industry. Her experience includes managing the Implementation process for large, complex customers encompassing insured and self insured products. Her experience managing and partnering with large national accounts contributes to her ability to define and develop process efficiencies and proactively meet customer service delivery expectations.
